Our goal is to promote and develop the sport of sailing through the organization and execution of competitions in both Olympic and non-Olympic classes. For years, we have proudly and successfully organized regattas in the ILCA 4, ILCA 6, and ILCA 7 classes, with special emphasis on our open international competitions and cruiser regattas that bring together sailors from all over the world.
One of our most significant projects is the Strožanac OPEN in the cruiser class, held under the Croatian Sailing Federation, regularly featuring the most renowned Croatian sailing names. Additionally, we are delighted to organize regattas for radio-controlled sailboat models – the Strožanac Dragon Force 65.
The club was founded in 2012 and has since been an active member of the Croatian Sailing Federation and the Community of Sports Clubs of the Municipality of Podstrana. Our base is located in the picturesque Strožanac Sports Marina in Podstrana, near Split – a location that offers excellent sailing conditions year-round.
Beyond sports competitions, we are dedicated to promoting and educating new generations of sailors – from beginners and amateurs to professionals seeking to further refine their skills.
